Credits & Pricing
Builder is priced around credits, not a required subscription. This page covers how billing actually works day to day; see Credits & Free Tier for the basics.
Free plan
Every account gets free credits every month automatically — no credit card required to start. If you never need more than that, you never have to pay anything.
Buying credit packs
When you need more than your free monthly credits, buy a credit pack from the Billing page. This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription — you're topped up once and stay at that balance (plus your ongoing free monthly credits) until you spend it down.
Checkout is handled securely through Stripe. After a successful purchase, your balance updates immediately and you're returned to the builder.
What consumes credits
Generating a new site or having Builder make an AI-driven edit consumes credits, based on the underlying AI token usage (1 credit = 10,000 tokens). Actions that don't call the AI model — like starting from a template, or using the deterministic parts of the visual editor (fonts, spacing, color presets, theme swaps) — don't spend credits the way an AI generation does.
Tracking your spend
The Billing page shows:
- Your current credit balance, with a usage progress bar.
- A transaction history — every grant, purchase, and debit against your account.
- Per-project usage, so you can see which projects have consumed the most.
Never expires
Credits — free or purchased — don't expire and don't reset. Anything you don't use carries forward.
