Using Templates

Templates are pre-built starting points you can generate from instead of an empty prompt — useful when you know the kind of site you want (a portfolio, an online store, a blog) and would rather start further along than a blank page.

Browsing templates

Open Templates to see the gallery. Each template shows a name, description, category, and a preview thumbnail where available.

Starting a project from a template

Click Use this template on any template. Builder creates a new project seeded from it and opens it directly in the generate workspace, ready to continue.

Note Starting from a template doesn't run a full AI generation, so it doesn't consume generation credits the way a from-scratch prompt does.

Templates are just a starting point

Every template is fully editable — nothing about starting from a template limits what you can do afterward. Chat-based edits, the visual editor, the admin panel, and everything else in Builder work on a template-based project exactly as they would on a project generated from a prompt.
