Quickstart

This walks through generating your first website with Builder, end to end.

1. Create an account

Sign up with email and password, or continue with Google. New accounts receive free monthly credits automatically — no credit card required. See Credits & Free Tier for details.

2. Open the builder

From the homepage, click Start Building (or Start Generating) to open /generate — the main workspace where you'll describe and build your site.

3. Describe your website

Type a description of what you want into the prompt box. Be as specific as you'd like — the product, the audience, the pages you need, the tone. See Writing Effective Prompts for tips.

If your prompt is ambiguous, Builder may ask a few clarifying questions before it starts building.

4. Watch it build

Once you submit, Builder streams progress in real time — you'll see the current step, files as they're created, and a live preview as soon as the site is ready to render. A typical generation finishes in under a minute.

5. Refine it

After the first generation:

• Chat for further changes — "add a testimonials section", "change the primary color to green".
• Click into the live preview to edit text, fonts, colors, and spacing directly with the visual editor.
• Browse the generated files in the built-in code view.

6. Ship it

When you're happy with the result:

• Deploy to Vercel with one click straight from the builder, or
• Download the project as a ZIP and host it anywhere you like.
